They take you into Laurel Canyon, where artists like Gram Parsons and Clarence White helped define a sound that still echoes today. They even present a powerful seven-minute rock opera centered on that one night in Benedict Canyon in August 1969—a night that changed everything.

Fashionably Late is a Milwaukee-based jazz band that strives to keep the original high-energy and danceable quality of jazz alive.  All the members met in the big band at the University of Wisconsin, UW-Milwaukee.  For fans of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Duke Ellington, Bobby Darin, Ray Charles, Glen Miller, Louis Armstrong, and of course The Beatles, you will surely have a wonderful time listening to this young group of jazz cats.
Sing and dance to the big band music of the 50’s and 60’s AND hits from The Beatles with Fashionably Late!  You may hear some “jazz-ified” Beatles songs, with a twist… Many of the members will be performing with The Taxmen as well!
